U.S. Government 101 (American Government 101) is an elective course in the Social Science Department at NMC. Howe is no longer teaching this course, but the following are some of the useful resources he used in his classes.
As of all his classes, Howe assumes that students are taking the course out of a genuine curiosity for the subject, as well as a larger interest in pursuing an education to broaden their personal perspectives on the nature of the world. In this class students will be asked to play the role of both a social scientist and an engaged citizen that can pursue a topic with energy, sincerity and curiosity.
