Asia Travels

Gary Howe has extensive experience traveling, working and studying outside of the United States.

While living between Taiwan & Mainland China, he has visited some of the most densely populated, polluted and poverty stricken locations in the world. His classes at NMC utilize this first hand experience as a traveler to highlight the problems faced by the nearly 50% of the world who live on less than $2 a day.

He is currently looking for opportunities to utilize his fluency in Mandarin Chinese to return to China & South East Asia to document the changing landscapes, cultures & social issues of Asia.
