Create a unique series of postal stamps or playing cards.

  • Canvas size on stamp/card files are proportionate to finished stamp/card size
  • Final image fits within an 8" x 10" canvas area with all layers used intact
  • Final size of stamps/cards in final must relate and include sizes of actual stamps/card.
  • PhotoShop or a paint program is primary program used to create or manipulate images and type
  • Resolution is 200 ppi on five of six files with all layers used intact
  • Resolution is 72 ppi on one of six files and is optimized for the web
  • The series must be of at least 4 different images and images must relate to each other
  • Creativity counts/your image must be unique in some form
  • All images must be your original art/photos or be copyright free
  • Student will hand-in 1 color printout and 6 digital files by due date
    (Five (4 separate stamps and 1 with combined stamps) of the digital files will be 200ppi and saved in the .psd file formats with all original layers and the sixth digital file will be 72ppi, optimized for the web and saved as a .jpg or .gif (additional files may be necessary for optimizing) )
