Cladonia bacillaris/C. macilentaa var. bacillaris

This lichen resembles tiny matchsticks. The slender, unbranched, gray podetia are covered with powdery soredia and tipped with red fruits. It is found growing on decorticate wood such as rotting stumps, fence posts and wooden shingles.
