| This small Cladonia is unusual because of the tan apothecia which look 'oversized' on their slender, yellow-green, club-shaped podetia. The pale, lumpy apothecia resemble a cluster of grapes. Soredia are lacking and the primary squamules are inconspicuous. It is found growing on rotting wood in sunny locations. |
