| C. mitis is similar to C. arbuscula in that it has a yellowish-green cast, and its tangled masses form large mounds. Main branches are present that divide into branchlets of threes and fours with open axils. Terminal branchlets are generally finer than those of C. arbuscula and do not all point in the same direction. |
