| This attractive lichen has distinctly yellowish cup-shaped podetia that are topped with large, bright red apothecia when mature. The cups, borne on short stems, are wide and deep and covered with granular soredia. The primary squamules with the same distinctive yellowish cast, are of average size and persistent. |
