| L. muralis forms tan to greenish yellow patches on calcareous rocks, walls, tiles, tombstones, and roofs. The lobe margins and tan apothecia have a distinctive white rim that make this lichen easy to identify. The thallus is flattened and firmly attached. Apothecia are numerous. |
