| The thallus of P. crinitum is mineral gray and has broad lobes with cilia at the margins. Numerous isidia extend from the lobe margins and may be branched with cilia protruding. The lower surface is tan at the margins with black in the interior. It grows loosely attached to bark in open woods. |
