| P. millegrana is a small, mineral-gray foliose lichen with finely divided lobes. Numerous coarse soredia occur at the lobe margins as the species name translates (thousand grains). The lower surface is white with a few rhizines. This common lichen is found covering large areas of tree trunks along city streets and in open woods. |
