Email Signature Templates

NMC faculty, staff and students can use either of the templates below to quickly create an email signature with contact information, the NMC or Hawk Owls logo, and links to NMC's main social media channels. Email signatures are automatically added to outgoing email messages and to email message responses.

To use one of the templates, highlight the text and images below starting with the "--" text, copy and paste it into the Signature field of your email program, and customize as needed. For example, you can add a web address or a shortcut to your department's web pages, such as nmc.edu/help, nmc.edu/hr or nmc.edu/pr. (If you do add a web address or shortcut to your signature, test it to make sure it works correctly.)

If you get your NMC email via a web browser, you can find the Signature field by clicking on the gear icon (Google gear icon) near the top right corner of the browser window, selecting Settings from the drop-down menu that appears, and scrolling down to the Signature section. Check "Insert this signature before quoted text..." under the Signature field to place your signature right after your email message when replying to someone else's message, rather than at the end of the email.

Note that not everyone will be able to view your email signature depending on their email program and settings. The Public Relations department is not able to troubleshoot issues with email signatures.
