    • Be at least 25 years old when you apply
    • Have lived in Michigan for a year or more
    • Have a high school diploma or equivalent
    • Have not yet completed a college degree (associate or bachelor's)

 

To participate in the NMC / Michigan Reconnect scholarship, complete these four simple steps:

  1. Apply online for Michigan Reconnect

    The application takes less than five minutes to complete and can be done on a mobile phone. If you are having difficulties on your mobile device, we recommend using a different browser or computer.

  2. Apply to Northwestern Michigan College

  3. Submit your free FAFSA application

    Please list NMC’s school code — 002302 — on your application.

  4. You are ready to enroll at NMC and start classes
