Public/Non-NMC Patrons

COVID-19 MESSAGE
To limit traffic to essential NMC business, the library is open only for NMC students, staff and faculty at this time. Community patrons may still request our materials for pickup from their local public library using MeLCat. Services to the public will resume when the college moves to Stage 3 of the NMC Reopening Plan.

NMC Osterlin Library welcomes NMC students, faculty and staff, along with members of the public. Our specific policies are below, but public patrons are welcome to use our library during all regular business hours.

Computer Use

Library computers are primarily for the use of NMC’s students who are using them to do coursework. Library patrons who are not affiliated with NMC may use public computers. However, librarians may refuse access to non-NMC users during times of high demand. They also reserve the right to ask non-NMC and recreational users to give up their computers for NMC students who need them for educational or curriculum-related activities.

All users must comply with Staff Policy D-506.06: Computer and Network Acceptable Use.
