Career Fair

TRAVERSE CITY — Students and the public are invited to NMC’s ninth annual Career Fair, set for 3:30–5:30 p.m. March 5 at the Hagerty Center on NMC's Great Lakes Campus.

Employers from professional and occupational fields will be recruiting for career-track positions, seasonal and entry-level opportunities, as well as internships, service learning and networking opportunities. Job seekers are encouraged to dress professionally, bring resumes and be prepared to talk to local employers about open positions/opportunities. On-site interviews are possible, at the discretion of the employer on a first-come, first-served basis.

Wendy Walter, Human Development Manager at Oryana Natural Foods Market, will be recruiting at the fair for the third year in a row.

"I know many employers, including Oryana, who have hired applicants that they first met at the Career Fair," she said. "It’s a chance to meet others, learn about opportunities and industries, and determine your next steps."

More than 80 employers are scheduled to recruit. For the most updated list as well as more information, visit nmc.edu/career-fair.

Three other career fairs are also scheduled later in the spring:

  • Information Technology – April 8, 4–7 p.m., Hagerty Center
  • Auto/diesel  – April 15, 4–7 p.m., Parsons-Stulen Building
