Davenport University launches a 12-month MBA

TRAVERSE CITY —  Davenport University in Traverse City is offering a 12-month Master of Business Administration degree.

Time-to-Degree: Students in this accelerated, 12-month version of the MBA would be provided with a predetermined schedule that would include a pre-selected course for the one existing elective in the program. Therefore, a student could register for the entire cohort upon their initial enrollment.

Cohort Format: The same group of students would begin the MBA program and flow through with their group for their entire program. Cohort programs have been shown to improve the completion rate of students toward their degree and build strong team building skills. Students are expected to complete the program and only in the case of limited exceptions, would a student be permitted to leave the cohort.

Delivery Approach: Students will be able to take two classes per academic term. Residential students meet the required contact hours by splitting their scheduled in-class session among two classes and by completing a portion of their instruction online. All courses are 7-week accelerated. Fall 2 through Spring/Summer courses meet 6:00-7:50pm and 8:00-9:50pm on Tuesdays.

RELEASE DATE: April 6, 2016
