Program Notes:
- Human Anatomy & Physiology must have been completed within 7 years of applying to the program
- Math Competency is required and can be fulfilled in one of two ways:
- COMPASS placement into MTH 121 or higher, or
- Successful completion of MTH 111 or higher with a grade of 2.0 or better
- The Surgical Technology Program is scheduled through the summer, so it takes approximately 16 months to complete. Cohorts will typically begin in the Fall Semester* and run fall, spring, summer, and fall with a December graduation.
- BUS 231 is recommended for surgical technology students to meet the Communications requirement for the AAS degree; however, students who anticipate transferring credits to another school or who plan to pursue a four-year degree at some point in the future are advised to take ENG 112.
* Note: the first cohort is scheduled to start in January 2016, so the schedule will be spring, summer, fall, spring with a May 2017 graduation.
