Certificate of Achievement (Level I) – NMC Code 036

This pathway offers prospective students the opportunity to focus on welding process fundamentals while developing practical skills in common cutting and joining processes. These include Gas Metal Arc Welding, Shielded Metal Arc Welding, Gas Tungsten Arc Welding, Flux Cored Arc Welding, Oxy-Fuel Processes, and Plasma Arc Cutting. Certificate culminates with student access to AWS qualification testing.

Based on practical instruction in Gas Metal Arc Welding, Shielded Metal Arc Welding, Gas Tungsten Arc Welding, Flux Cored Arc Welding, Oxy-Fuel Processes, and Plasma Arc Cutting, the Level II certificate offers a deeper understanding of welding and related manufacturing processes through additional coursework that includes metallurgy, blueprint reading, machining, and electronics. Certificate culminates with student access to AWS qualification testing.
