Living wth Grief Educational Program
The annual bereavement educational program of the Hospice Foundation of America is usually held in the spring of each year. The program is designed to assist end-of-life care givers in their understanding of particular issues faced by the group. A different population is highlighted each year.
If you are a medical professional, teacher, grief counselor, clergy or family member, learn about new interventions to better serve grieving populations and their families. This highly informative event includes a distinguished panel of educators and practitioners. Patti Amalfitano, local Hospice Coordinator, provides an introduction and leads a follow-up discussion that often includes a local focus with area resources.
Three (3) contact hours of continuing education are available online for most helping professions for $35 through Hospice.
The date for the next program will be posted here when schedule is finalized.
