Come into relaxation and stillness by stimulating the connective 'yin' tissues, such as the ligaments, bones, and even the joints of the body that are not typically explored in a more active style of practice. Suitable for almost all levels of students, Yin Yoga is a perfect complement to the dynamic and muscular (yang) styles of yoga, as well as to active exercise such as running and cycling. Yin Yoga generally targets the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine. All levels welcome. Meets at Yen Yoga and Fitness (332 E. Front St., TC).
