Questions about enrolling for classes

I've searched for and found a class for which I'd like to enroll. How do I enroll for the class?

The main steps to enrolling in a class once you see it under Search Results are:

  1. Add the class(es) to your shopping cart
  2. Checkout, which includes Sign In
  3. Pay for your class(es) using a credit card

Add the class(es) to your Shopping Cart:

Courses under Search Results in the left hand column can be added to your shopping cart with the Add button. You can also drag and drop the class into your Shopping Cart.

When you're done adding classes to your Shopping Cart, click on the Register/Checkout button at the top of the Shopping Cart.

Once you click Register/Checkout, you will be prompted to Sign In.

If you've never taken a class at NMC, you can click on Create New NMC Account and you will be walked through creating an NMC account.
Note: you will need to provide a valid e-mail address and your NMC ID and Password will be created during this process.

If you have ever taken a class at NMC, you already have an NMC ID!

If you know your NMC ID and password already, use it to sign in and proceed to Pay for your class(es).

If you have taken either a credit or noncredit class at NMC, but do not know your NMC ID and/or password, contact the NMC Technology Help Desk for assistance at (231) 995-3020.

Pay for your class(es) with a credit card

Once you Sign In, you can pay for the class(es) in your Shopping Cart by using the Confirm Registration (upper right), Proceed to Payment (lower right), and Submit payment buttons (lower right). Please note: if you have a small screen, you may have to scroll to see these action buttons.

Follow the instructions to make your credit card payment at the secure external TouchNet site. You can pay with a credit card or a checking account (ACH). When you are finished with your payment, you will be returned to a Online Registration window which you close and then you'll see your Schedule and Invoice summary.

Hint: if you ever need to see your Schedule and/or Payments at a later date, you can Sign In again and visit Your Account > Review Your Invoices. Your Schedule will show you a listing of all classes for which you are registered. Please note that you may have to scroll to see the Print button in these areas.
