Mind and Memory Program

Five Weeks to a Healthier Brain

TRAVERSE CITY, MI – Research shows that we can maintain and often improve brain function over the life span. Northwestern Michigan College is offering a 5-week ‘Mind and Memory’ program beginning April 21 to engage you (and your brain) in learning and implementing a holistic approach to brain health. The program is designed for boomers and beyond — or anyone wanting to be proactive about personal brain function and wellness. Sessions are held at NMC’s Oleson Center Thursdays, April 21-May 19, 1:30-4:15 p.m. The cost is $145. Each week includes ready-to-use information, interaction, brain food, and a guest expert in one of the pillars of brain health — fitness, brain food, mental workouts, restoration, and social interaction. Speakers include Dr. Judith Kuntz, Laura McCain, Todd Nienhouse, Dr. Sarah Vonderhoff, Jane Pearsall, and Libby Robold. To register or to learn about many other noncredit offerings, visit nmc.edu/ees or call NMC Extended Education at (231) 995-1700.
