Eastern Worldview of Buddhism

From Amida Buddha to Zen Koans, explore the general “Eastern” worldview of Buddhism in a 3-session class guided by Corey Sanderson, NMC world religions, philosophy, and ethics instructor.  Offered by Northwestern Michigan College Extended Education, the course highlights the basic story, primary teachings, ethical and ritual practices, and various schools within Buddhist thought. Class meets on Thursday afternoons, January 26 to February 9, 1-3 p.m. at the University Center on Cass Road. Cost is $65 ($54 for age 62+ living in Grand Traverse County).
