ACT Test Preparation
TEST preparation class
High school students: think of ACT Test Preparation like an athlete thinks of preparing for competition–you need to practice before you compete! Many colleges and universities use the scores from the ACT as part of their acceptance criterion. Scoring well influences many scholarship and funding opportunities. NMC's ACT Test Preparation course meets 5 Tuesdays, April 30 to May 28, 6 to 9 p.m., at NMC's University Center, Rm. 06, and helps familiarize students with the test, provide practice, build confidence, and reduce test anxiety. Cost is $265.
There is also a 4-week option available, beginning May 7, for $235. This course skips the Diagnostic Exam which takes place the first day of the April 39 class.
For best results, it is recommended to take either course early, several months before taking the exam. Visit www.nmc.edu/ees or call NMC at (231) 995-1700 for information or to enroll.
