ADMISSION CRITERIA

  1. GPA - 2.5
  2. Each major may have specific requirements. Please speak with an NMC counselor or CMU advisor for details.
  3. All courses must be passed with a "C" or better to be accepted at CMU.
  4. CMU offers two tracks of Math requirements:
    1. Track A requires MTH 121 & MTH 131 and two Math courses at CMU
    2. Track B requires MTH 141 & MTH 131
  5. Admission requirements for CMU's Business Department include the completion of 56 credit hours, the required GPA, and the pre-requisite classes listed below. Certain required courses not offered at NMC can be completed at CMU.
  6. Transfer students must complete graduation competencies for CMU. (Eng 111, 112; Com 111; Mth 111) at NMC or they will be required to complete these classes during their first or second semester at CMU.
  7. Those going into secondary education, please follow appropriate transfer guide.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

Completion of basic requirement courses at NMC will fulfill the general requirements at CMU. Upon request at the NMC Records and Registration Office, a statement will be placed on your transcript, "MICHIGAN TRANSFER AGREEMENT (MTA) SATISFIED".
