Music courses transfer as general credit and may need to be repeated at CMU. Specific music credit may be granted after your audition. Speak with an advisor at the Music department at CMU prior to choosing music courses from NMC, or meet with CMU as early as possible in your academic career. Due to the nature of this program, you may consider transferring to CMU early. Completing the courses above and the MTA may not shorten your tenure at CMU.

If pursuing NMC's Associate's degree, 60 credits are required. Please contact a Advisor for assistance with appropriate course selection.

Northwestern Michigan College does not assume final responsibility for the accuracy of information on this guide. The final responsibility for the successful transfer of classes suggested on this guide rests with you and the institution you plan to transfer to. It is strongly recommended that you visit the institution as early in your academic career (prior to transfer) as possible.
