Program: Fisheries and Wildlife Management

Fisheries and Wildlife Management programs place a strong emphasis on understanding the relationship between organisms and their habitats by blending a conceptual understanding of fish and wildlife ecology and population dynamics with practical skills obtained during laboratory and field exercises. Students graduating from this rigorous, applied curriculum can meet the qualifications of state and federal natural resource management agencies as technicians and biologists.

Lake Superior State University (LSSU) offers three concentrations: Fisheries and Wildlife Management (general); Fisheries Management concentration; Wildlife Management concentration. The courses listed below will work for all three concentrations unless otherwise indicated.

Basic Requirements

Completion of the basic education requirements listed below, will complete the MTA agreement and the general education requirements at LSSU. Upon request at the NMC Records and Registration Office, a statement will be placed on your transcript, "MICHIGAN TRANSFER AGREEMENT (MTA) SATISFIED".
