ADMISSIONS CRITERIA

  1. GPA - 3.5 or higher - Admission to the Eli Broad School of Business program is competitive. A higher GPA may be necessary. 
  2. Repeat Grades - MSU averages all grades received, all courses attempted, all schools attended.
  3. Core Business courses (accounting, and economics) must have a minimum 3.5 combined average with at least a 3.0 in each course.
  4. Limited number of admissions - Each major limits the number of admission spots. Early application is desirable because of competition for available spots. 
  5. Scholarships - A limited number of scholarships are available at admissions.msu.edu/finances/scholarships_transfer.asp
  6. Transfer Visitation Program - Visit MSU on-line to make a reservation, admissions.msu.edu/visitCampus/default.asp.

If your goal is to complete an associate's degree before transferring, a NMC advisor can help you achieve both goals. It may be beneficial to transfer before completing an associate's degree for this program.
