NMC Transfer Guide

Program: AAS, Certified Respiratory Therapist

A Certified Respiratory Therapist associate degree program is available through Munson Hospital, Muskegon Community College and Northwestern Michigan College, and allows you to become a Certified Respiratory Therapist in Traverse City. Muskegon Community College provides the associate degree; Munson, the clinical experience; and NMC, the liberal arts courses. There is a specialty clinical done in Grand Rapids, MI or Ann Arbor, MI. Starting salary for a R.T. is in the range of $35,000 to $38,000 per year. A potential student must enjoy working with people, be a team player and also like working as an autonomous professional. Your interests should include computers, science and machinery.
