NMC Transfer Guide - MTA

To: Western Michigan University - Main Campus

Program: Interior Design

Interior Design emphasizes the application of analytical, technical, business, and aesthetic skills in the development of spaces for living, working and/or relaxation. Graduates are employed with architectural and design firms in interior/facilities management divisions of large corporations, retailing home furnishings, and marketing positions and showroom management.

IMPORTANT: Interior Design at WMU limits enrollment into this program. Acceptance is selective and competitive. Please be sure to read the information at: http://www.wmich.edu/consumer/academics/interior-design.html about the acceptance process for students seeking to pursue the Interior Design program.

Interior design is a four-year program from a student's first fall semester at WMU. Students are strongly encouraged to start at WMU and take NMC classes in summers.

Laura Ciccantell is the contact person for this program at laura.ciccantell@wmich.edu or (269) 387-3474.
