LEAN Office Champion - $3,500 per participant; add an additional person for 1/2 price

September 2017–February 2018: 2nd & 3rd Wednesdays of the month

Build your organization’s internal lean capacity as a Lean Champion and learn how to facilitate continuous improvement projects in your workplace. This six-month training will include tools for facilitating change, seeing waste in current processes, building more effective teams, increasing productivity while reducing stress, and improving the quality of services or products delivered to your customer.

Lean Manufacturing Champion -$3,500 per participant; add an additional person for 1/2 price

September 2017–February 2018: 2nd & 3rd Thursdays of the month

Learn to cut waste and cost out of your process while earning certification as a Lean Champion. Deliverables: build internal capacity, facilitated Kaizen at your location, sustain continuous improvement, lean manufacturing simulation and project planning, facilitator and kata skills, problem solving, current and future state mapping with lean metrics, 5S workplace organization, cellular flow, kanban pull system, standard work and poke-yoke, SMED, and TPM.

Lean Value Stream Mapping Overview - $95

Thursday, October 5, 2017; 8:30 AM–12:30 PM

This session introduces the tools of Value Stream Mapping which allow you to see the flow of value as you follow a product or service’s production path from “dock to dock” or “order to invoice.” You will learn how to identify and collect accurate data to draft a Current State Map, how to use Lean concepts to identify areas for improvement, and how to create a Future State Map.

Lean 5s/Workplace Organization Overview - $95

Thursday, October 26, 2017; 8:30 AM–12:30 PM

5S is a foundational Lean tool focused on workplace organization. This simulation will create an awareness of how a clean and organized work area impacts productivity, quality, attitudes, and safety in the workplace. Participants will be introduced to and practice lean workplace organization 5S principles: sort, set in order, shine, standardize, and sustain through a simulation.
