Students are prepared for management of operations where food, lodging or both are provided.  The Hotel Management major includes 31 credits of coursework focused on hotel and restaurant management, policies, issues and resort, recreation, and tourism management.  The FSU College of Business is accredited by ACBSP (Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs).

Hotel Management
Designed for students without the background or specific interest in food and beverage area, this track provides a focus on hotel and facilities management. Students in this track have the choice to use elective credits for additional hotel management courses, basic food and beverage courses, or additional business courses. 

Admission Requirements

  • At least 48 transferable semester credit hours (C or better) from an accredited college or university, with a 2.35 overall grade point average.
