Graduate Certificate

Central Michigan University

The only Driver Education Certificate Program offered in northwest Michigan, this certificate consists of four courses (12 credits) which provide the skills needed to become a Michigan Department of Education certified instructor.

Admission Requirements
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Personal driving record with no more than 6 points for traffic convictions during two years prior to application
• Possess a valid teaching certificate to teach in the public school system or be employed by a private company
