Ferris State University

Professionals in the human resource management field work each day with a variety of people, including employees and job applicants, administrators and union representatives. Job duties include recruiting and selecting the best employees available for a job, counseling employees, conducting training and career development programs and performing job evaluations. They work in compensation and benefits administration, participate in negotiations as well as engage in personnel research and job analysis. This 12-credit hour certificate can be added to a bachelor’s degree or, standing alone, enhance the skills of business professionals. FSU College of Business is accredited by ACBSP (Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs).
