Bachelor of Arts/bachelor of science
This degree
is designed for those who are interested in teaching at the Elementary
school level. Successful completion of this program will result in
recommendation for Elementary certification with an Integrated Science
major (DI endorsement), and optional minors in Reading (BT endorsement),
and Child Development (ZS endorsement). This degree and certification
allows one to teach K-5 all subjects, K-6 self-contained classrooms, K-8
reading, Language Arts, and Science. The ZS endorsement is highly
sought after for someone wanting to teach Pre-K through grade 3.
