Individuals who hold a bachelors degree from an accredited college or university can complete the requirements for teacher certification through this Grand Valley State University program.  A second bachelors is not required to become certified to teach in the state of Michigan.

Consult with a GVSU advisor to determine what coursework is needed to complete the certification program.

This program is offered in a cohort format, please contact the GVSU office to inquire about the anticipated start of a new cohort
