Master of ARTS/Building Certificate Endorsement
Prepares students to lead traditional public schools and public school academies. Intended for K-12 teachers with at least three years of experience. Emphasis is on practical, specific skills in educational administration core concepts, instructional supervision, managing personnel, understanding public school laws and managing school finances. Graduates go on to administrative jobs including principal, assistant principal, curriculum director, athletic director, and central office positions in school districts, ISDs, and state agencies.
The 33 credit hour program is accredited according to standards developed under the auspices of the National Policy Board for Educational Administration and implemented by the Educational Leadership Constituent Council and meets the new State of Michigan certification mandate
