Important Note:

NMC music courses will transfer to CMU — how they transfer (whether as direct transfer, department credit or general credit) is dependent on the transfer student's audition and results of placement tests in Music Theory, Sight Singing and Ear Training and Class Piano. Based on the results of those placement tests, CMU may request the student to repeat a course(s) at CMU. Speak with an advisor at the Music Department at CMU as early as possible in your academic career.

If pursuing NMC's Associate's degree, 60 credits are required. Please contact a Advisor for assistance with appropriate course selection.
