Program: Business Administration - Aviation
Aviation students at Northwestern Michigan College can now earn a B.S. degree in Business Administration with an Aviation option. All courses required for the program are available in Traverse City. The program is intended to increase career opportunities in the field of Aviation.
Admission Criteria
- 2.35 GPA (Some programs may be more competitive.)
- Ferris requires a 2.0 or higher in each class to transfer starting in the fall of 2009.
- Completion of ENG 111 and MTH 111 or competency via ACT, SAT or Accuplacer
- A graduate with an Applied Associate Degree in Aviation and MTA or FSU general ed.
- If you have transfer credits from another college or university, you must meet with Ferris to determine the transferability of those credits. Transfer credits may be used to substitute for some courses listed below.
- It is essential that you make contact with both the NMC Aviation and FSU Business contact persons as soon as possible. The following courses will complete the MTA agreement.
- The College of Business requires a minimum of 48 transferable credits in general education for accreditation.

Basic Requirements
Completion of the BASIC requirements, as listed, at NMC will fulfill most of the general education requirements at FSU. Upon request at the NMC Records and Registration Office, a statement will be placed on your transcript, "MICHIGAN TRANSFER AGREEMENT ( MTA) SATISFIED".
