Program: Criminal Justice
The Criminal Justice baccalaureate degree prepares you for a professional career in the Criminal Justice system in Michigan and throughout the country. The Generalist option prepares you to seek federal, state and/or local criminal justice agency employment or admission to law school or graduate school. This program gives you an education with a broad focus in Criminal Justice. The most common positions for graduates of this program are: police officer, corrections officer, community correction officer, probation officer, detective, federal agent and investigator for a multitude of public and private agencies and/or corporations. ADMISSION CRITERIA
- Completed an Associates degree or at least 48 transferable semester credit hours with a 2.0 cumulative grade point average or higher.
- Ferris requires a 2.0 or above in each class to transfer.
- By completing the following classes you will complete the MTA and the Associate in Science & Arts degree.
- You should begin communication with Ferris State University early in your career at NMC.

Basic Requirements
Completion of the Basic requirements, as listed, at NMC will fulfill the general requirements at FSU. Upon request at the NMC Records and Registration Office, a statement will be placed on your transcript, "MICHIGAN TRANSFER AGREEMENT (MTA) SATISFIED".
