Basic Requirements
Completion of Basic Requirement courses at NMC will maximize your transition to Northwood's BBA program. Upon request at the NMC Records and Registration Office, a statement will be placed on your transcript, "MICHIGAN TRANSFER AGREEMENT (MTA) SATISFIED." It is highly recommended you meet with a Northwood advisor and visit their campus as early in your academic career as possible.
Northwestern Michigan College has an articulation agreement with Northwood in which all associate degrees will be able to attain a BBA with a major in management. Associate degrees should include English (English 111 & 112), Speech (COM 111), History (HST 101 or 102) and a Science with a lab. A minimum of 90 semester hours must be completed at Northwestern prior to transferring to Northwood to take full advantage of the 3 plus 1 agreement in Management (management is the only major eligible for the 3 plus 1 agreement). Students may transfer with fewer credits for any other major.
