Admission Criteria
- Completion of all Basic Skills Requirements in Writing, Reading and Math. (At NMC: ENG 111; ENG 108 or waiver or test out at SVSU; and MTH 23).
- Complete 3 of 4 SVSU cognate courses (2 available at NMC):
- COM 101 at NMC
- MTH 141 at NMC or MATH 120B (NMC's MTH 111 is prerequisite) at SVSU
- Complete 4 of the following 5 Business Core courses at NMC:
- ACC 121
- ACC 122
- ECO 201
- ECO 202
- MTH 131
- Minimum of 2.25 GPA is required for admission to the College of Business.

Basic Requirements
Completion of the BASIC requirements as listed at NMC will fulfill most of the general requirements at SVSU. Students with the 'MTA Agreement Satisfied' stamp on their NMC transcript can expect to need no more than two General Education categories to complete general education requirements at SVSU. Upon request at the NMC Records and Registration Office, a statement will be placed on your transcript, "MICHIGAN TRANSFER AGREEMENT (MTA) SATISFIED".
