NMC Transfer Guide - MTA

Program: Computer Science

This is NOT the same as Computer Science-Engineering. That is a different major in the School of Engineering.

Computer science is a program within the College of Literature, Science and the Arts. Computer scientists understand, innovate, and direct to solve problems through computation and can, but do not necessarily, write the code. A computer scientist combines technical talent with creativity, design, social finesse, appreciation of other cultures, and business sense. As a student of U of M's computer science program, students learn to solve problems effectively, efficiently and accurately.
