2026 Women on the Water Conference

Hosted by the Consortium of State Maritime Academies with support from the United States Maritime Administration and Great Lakes Maritime Academy and Northwestern Michigan College

The 2026 Women on the Water Conference will take place February 8–10, 2026 at the MITAGS Facility located at 629 Maritime Blvd., Linthicum Heights, MD 21090. Cadet tickets are free. Other tickets are $299.

February 8, 2026

  • 3 p.m. — Check-in Opens *Head inside MITAGS Conference Center as if you're checking into their hotel accommodations. The front desk will handle all actual check-ins for accommodations and just on the other side of the lobby you'll find the check-in table for the WOW Conference.
  • 4 p.m. — Networking
  • 5–7 p.m. — Welcome, dinner and speaker

 

February 9, 2026

  • 8 a.m. — Breakfast begins
  • 9 a.m. — Sessions begin
  • 11 a.m. — Session and Networking
  • Noon — Lunch begins
  • 1 p.m. — Sessions continue
  • 3 p.m. — Afternoon break begins
  • 4 p.m. — Networking and happy hour begins
  • 5 p.m. — Dinner and Speaker begin

 

February 10, 2026

  • 8 a.m. — Breakfast begins
  • 9 a.m. — Board the bus/ Transportation to Washington DC
  • 11 a.m. — Arrival to DC! Group Photo and head through security for lunch
  • Noon — Formal Welcome to Capitol Hill
  • 12:15 p.m. — Session 1
  • 1 p.m. — Afternoon break begins
  • 1:15 p.m. — Session 2
  • 2 p.m. — Session 3
  • 2:45 p.m. — Afternoon break begins
  • 3 p.m. — Session 4
  • 4 p.m. — Keynote address by Sara Fuentes
  • 5 p.m. — Travel to reception at the Canadian Embassy
  • 5:30 p.m. — Reception at the Canadian Embassy
  • 7:30 p.m. — End of Reception, board the bus/ transportation back to MITAGS
  • 9 p.m. — Estimated arrival back to MITAGS. End of program.
