  • ONE-DAY RADAR RECERTIFICATION

  • TWO-DAY RADAR REFRESHER
    This course is available upon request and will be scheduled based on student demand.

    Course Fee: $350 (class minimum*=3; maximum=12)

  • FIVE DAY RADAR OBSERVER - UNLIMITED

  • GLOBAL MARITIME DISTRESS and SAFETY SYSTEM (GMDSS):
    August 10-21, 2020

  • ABLE SEAMAN (AB) & PROFICIENCY in SURVIVAL CRAFT (PSC-Lifeboat):
    February 10-21, 2020

    Course Fee for combined AB/PSC: $2000
    Course Fee for AB only (Feb. 13-21): $1,300
    Course Fee for PSC only (Feb. 10-13): $850
    (Class minimum = 8, Maximum = 12 AB and 12 for PSC)

  • QUALIFIED MEMBER of the ENGINE DEPARTMENT (QMED-FOWT):
    February 3-14, 2020

    Course Fee: $2000
    (Class minimum = 6; maximum = 24)
    *This is a Test Preparation course only. Students will be given access to Lapware programming specifically designed for preparing them to take the USCG QMED exams for Oiler, Watertender, and Fireman. An instructor will guide the students through test preparations and practical exercises. Though not required. it is recommended that students have an Authorization-To-Test letter issued by the USCG before attending this class. It is the student's responsibility to coordinate with the applicable USCG REC to schedule their exams.

  • ELECTRONIC CHART DISPLAY and INFORMATION SYSTEM (ECDIS):
    June 15-19, 2020

    Course fee: $1,300
    (Class minimum = 2, maximum = 6)

  • FAST RESCUE BOAT (FRB):
    July 27-30, 2020; August 3-6, 2020

    Course Fee $1,050.00
    (Class Minimum = 4, maximum = 10)

Additional Information:

  • Classes require a minimum number of students and may be canceled.
  • *RADAR Minimum class size is based on a combined total of 3 registered students for either 1, 2 or 5 days with 8 maximum allowed.
  • Photo ID required, MMC is preferred.
  • If taking a recertification course, you must have proof of prior certification.
  • Types of payment accepted once registered: credit card, check, cash or money order.
