College Prep Workshops

NMC Student Success Center offers Free College Prep Workshops to help students prepare for their college journey.

College Math Prep Workshops

If you haven't taken a math course in awhile or would like to improve your math skills, this workshop is for you! This short workshop could help you to increase your Placement score, allowing you to start in a higher math class.

These three-day online intensive workshops with live instruction will help you prep for your first college math class. Sections are split into two groups: those who are looking to dust off their skill set and review for placement in higher-level courses (Math Refresher), and those who are hoping to find some peace with math and looking to develop their skill set to place well on the test and increase their academic strength going forward (Intro to College Math).

This course can provide a distinct advantage in where you start your math sequence and can save you time and money. Students should plan to complete the placement test by contacting (231) 995-2134. They will receive Zoom links shortly before class begins.
