Services provided include individual tutoring, drop-in tutoring, study skills assistance and supplemental videos and resources.
Any student who is experiencing academic difficulties in an NMC class can request tutoring, and it's available in many courses. Please stop by or call our office at (231) 995-1138 to check availability.

When is it open?
The Math Center is open Mon.–Thurs., 9 a.m.–6 p.m., and Fridays 9 a.m.–2 p.m.
How does it work?
The Math Center is a drop-in tutoring resource. Tutors and Instructors are available to help students with homework and general math skills. No appointment is necessary.
Students can come to the math center with specific questions about class lectures or assignments, or to work with classmates. Many students plan to complete homework assignments in the Math Center so they can double-check their answers with the Math Center employees and have any confusing topics explained.
Which Math classes are covered?
Math Center employees are equipped to help students with all NMC math classes, from Pre-Algebra through Calculus III and Differential Equations.
