Orientation Day Checklist & Agenda

Note. that most orientation check-ins will be held at the Dennos Museum Center. Also, most orientations are in the morning, though occasional afternoon orientations will be offered.

Sample checklist for morning orientation

9–9:45 a.m. — Check In at the Dennos Museum Center or Timothy J. Nelson Innovation Center

  • Confirm Program with Advising
  • Practice your login for your NMC email
  • Explore your NMC support services
  • Make an appointment with Financial Services to discuss payment options

10–10:45 a.m. — Attend Welcome Presentation

  • Complete your Intake Survey

10:45 a.m.–12:30 p.m. — Advising & Register for Classes

  • Meet assigned advisor by program of study
  • Register for classes
  • Shop for books at the bookstore (if available)
