Student Employment

Student employees may work up to 20 hours a week during the semester, but some students work as little as five to 10 hours a week. You may work up to 40 hours a week during the summer semester and between semesters on an as-needed basis.

Areas of the college that hire student employees include Admissions, Advising Center, Grounds, Switchboard, Library, Media Services, Residence Life, Security and Student Life. Student employees are chosen based on their qualifications, position requirements and the applicant's work availability.

There usually are many more applicants than positions available. We encourage you to apply as soon as you have your class schedule.
