Admission Criteria
- All courses must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 to transfer to CMU.
- Transfer students must complete graduation competencies for CMU (ENG 111, 112; COM 111; MTH 111) at NMC or they will be required to complete these classes during their first or second semester at CMU.
- ENG 111, 112, and EDU 101 must be completed with a 3.0.
- It is essential you make contact with CMU for admission requirements and dates of application in your freshman year at NMC.
Basic Requirements
Upon request at the NMC Records and Registration Office, a statement will be placed on your transcript, "MICHIGAN TRANSFER AGREEMENT (MTA) SATISFIED". Completion of the MTA will satisfy CMU's University Program requirements and 6 credits of their Writing Intensive requirement.
