Commencement Ceremony
The 2024 Commencement Ceremony will be held Saturday, May 4.
Applying for a Degree or Certificate: Diplomas and certificates are not handed out on Commencement day. Once all degree or certificate requirements have been fulfilled, the degree or certificate will be mailed to the address on your graduation application approximately 6–8 weeks after final grades have been processed for the semester of graduation.
The RSVP form to participate in the 2024 Commencement Ceremony closed on April 22nd.
Regalia:
- Caps, gowns, and tassels are available at the NMC Bookstore.
- Honors Cords (Bachelor's Degree), Honors Medallions (Associate's Degree and Certificates), and Veteran's Cords will be handed out at the check-in table at Commencement
- Phi Theta Kappa Stole & Tassel are available in the Advising Office
- For Nursing Stoles (ONLY for pinning ceremony), please contact Amy Trouslot at atrouslot@nmc.edu
Guests: At this time, graduates will be able to bring up to five guests.
Livestream: For those not able to attend, NMC will offer a livestreaming at nmc.edu/video.
Professional Photography: A photographer will be available for portraits of graduates. Professional photos will also be taken during the ceremonies. A link to the photos will be provided after Commencement.
ATTENTION: Grandview Parkway / Front Street construction affects access to NMC's Front Street Campus.
